The Vice Chancellor, Professor Lateef Akanni Hussain, will be receiving Mr. Lefteris Souris, a Senior Executive of the MCGRAW-HILL Publishing Group on Wednesday 25th July, 2007, at 12 noon in the Senate Chamber of the University in Ojo.

The objectives of the meeting are:

• to introduce McGraw-Hill Publishing Group to the Senior Academic Community and explain how the company works with other Institutions of higher learning in other countries;

• to explain to Lecturers on how they can benefit from working with McGraw-Hill in the areas of receiving of lecturer items such as teaching resources, and free inspection copies;

• to highlight on how McGraw is willing to cut down prices to meet the demand of students;

• to explore areas of collaborative publishing with LASU lecturers.

The Provost, Deans, Directors/Heads of various academic Departments/Units and Academic Staff are hereby invited for an interactive session with the Senior Executive of McGraw-Hill Publishing Groups.
