LASU POSTPONES POSTGRADUATE ENTRANCE TEST FOR FULL-TIME AND PART-TIME PROGRAMMES

The Postgraduate Admission Test earlier scheduled for Saturday 7th April, 2007 has been re-scheduled to take place on SATURDAY, 19TH MAY, 2007.
Similarly, the latest date for the submission of completed Application Forms has been extended till FRIDAY 11TH MAY, 2007.
The inconveniences this postponement might have caused is highly regretted, please.

STREAMLINING THE ISSUE OF STAFF UNDERTAKING PART-TIME/FULL-TIME PROGRAMMES WITHOUT AUTHORISED APPROVAL

The attention of the University Management has been drawn to the fact that both academic and non-academic members of staff are undertaking part-time or full-time Degree/Diploma/Certificate programmes within or outside the Lagos State University without the appropriate approval of the relevant Appointments and Promotion Committees.

While the University Management recognizes the need for staff to develop themselves, it frowns at the current practice whereby members of staff undertake such programmes without authority.

In order to regularize this practice, concerned members of staff should formally apply to the appropriate Appointments and Promotions Committees using the attached format.

Please note that 3 Copies of the Application Forms should be submitted to the following officers:

  • Academic Staff Establishment (ASE)            -    Room 015 (for Academic Staff)
  • Administrative & Technical Unit (A & T)      -    Room 012(for Admin & Tech Staff)
  • Junior Staff Establishment (JSE)                   -    Room 006 (for Junior Staff)

Deadline for Submission:    FRIDAY, 11TH MAY 2007
